We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our team in Toronto or Halton office. As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering and design services for electrical systems in multi-disciplinary projects for public and private sector clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support at all stages of the project, from proposal to construction.
  • Preparing schematic and detailed design drawings for lighting, traffic signals, and joint utility trench designs.
  • Completing lighting analysis using AGi32 and preparing contract documents, including specifications and cost estimates.
  • Reviewing shop drawings and supporting in field, including commissioning and site inspections.
  • Mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education in Civil and Electrical Engineering with a focus on roadway lighting and traffic signals.
  • Minimum of 5 years of design experience in the consulting industry.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as TAC, ESA, IMSA, AODA, RP-8, and Ontario Traffic Manuals.
  • Proficient with AGi32, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, with experience in utility coordination and conflict assessment.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, with a valid Ontario Driver's Licence – Class G.
