The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure the efficient and effective execution of business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical action plans to drive business results and achieve customer requirements.
  • Manage cross-functional projects and teams to improve operational performance and achieve cost-efficient labor management results.
  • Provide leadership through effective communications, coaching, training, and development to ensure a productive work environment.
  • Direct activities to support budget requirements and work towards achieving business profitability and growth.
  • Develop and manage a system of controls to ensure service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue, and profit parameters.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to resolve labor issues, employee relations issues, and support HR programs.
  • Establish excellent customer relations and ensure the highest level of support and service is provided to our customers.
  • Establish a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated work history in a large, volume-driven, fast-paced distribution center with in-depth knowledge of warehousing and supply chain principles and processes.
  • Proven effective leadership experience in managing senior managers and non-exempt employees.
  • Knowledge of distribution and compliance.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Disciplined planning and organizing skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible.
  • Ability to perform job duties with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle uncertainties and be an advocate for change.
  • Strong knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain Management on operational, tactical, and strategic levels.
  • Highly analytical with in-depth understanding of business, IT, and process requirements.
