Procurement Analyst

Job Overview:
The Procurement Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing the timely delivery of materials and supplies essential for production operations. This position also entails the responsibility of sourcing Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) items along with other necessary shop supplies. Additionally, the Procurement Analyst will evaluate and monitor supplier performance and quality, ensuring compliance with established specifications. Accurate inventory management is also a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement of materials and supplies needed for production processes.
• Ensuring efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods.
• Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Conducting market analysis to identify competitive pricing.
• Overseeing inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Collaborating with various departments to ensure prompt delivery of goods.
• Maintaining and updating purchasing records and documentation.
• Ensuring adherence to procurement policies and regulations.
• Performing additional job-related tasks as required.

Education and Experience:

• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Excel, and JobBoss software is advantageous.
• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Additional Considerations:

• Experience or knowledge in low voltage switchgear or power distribution equipment is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
• Compliance with all company policies is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Work Environment:
