The Aerospace Systems Engineer will be responsible for the creation, integration, and application of interdisciplinary digital models throughout the entire product life cycle. This role requires applying specific functional, operational, and general industry expertise to develop or contribute to solutions for a range of moderate complexity challenges in support of hypersonic testing and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently conduct systems design, integration, and testing activities with minimal guidance.
  • Perform system-level trade studies to identify and balance conflicting requirements effectively.
  • Oversee the delivery of complex aerospace hardware from initial concept through to testing phases.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and obtain necessary clearances.
  • Utilize a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field to inform engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in requirements derivation, validation, and verification processes.
  • Familiarity with gated design review processes.
  • Proficient in Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML).
  • Experience with requirement management tools such as DOORS or JAMA.
  • A Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering is advantageous.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
