Job Title: Aerospace Engineer

This position requires a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to support the National Capital Region Integrated Air Defense System (NCR-IADS) Management & Integration Cell (MIC). The successful candidate will collaborate with the Senior Aerospace Engineer Team and the Task Order Lead (TOL) to provide professional engineering, technical, and programmatic assistance to the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command's (USASMDC) Center of Excellence (CoE) for Stinger-based weapons systems supporting NCR-IADS requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of NCR-IADS unique configuration and information distribution systems within an urban environment.
  • Provide advice and assistance in the integration of Avenger Weapons Systems into Live events, to include Live Fires.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Aerospace Engineer Team to offer technical assistance to the USASMDC CoE.
  • Conduct basic and applied research to assess equipment adaptability to missile distribution design.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience contributing to Army and/or Joint programs, systems or large scale events.
  • Relevant experience with Air and Missile Defense tactical system operations, including Avenger Weapon System and its employment considerations.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
