We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Randstad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with a focus on environmental compliance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards, including biological, chemical, and radiological materials.
- Develop and implement effective safety training programs for employees.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including environmental permits and regulatory compliance documents.
- Collaborate with management to investigate incidents and develop corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in environmental health and safety, with a focus on industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA guidelines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
