Medical Staff Services Liaison

As a Medical Staff Services Liaison at WellSpan Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless care for our patients. This position requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, as you will be working closely with office staffs and medical specialties to coordinate MRI services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate MRI services for outpatients, ensuring timely and efficient care.
• Serve as a liaison between MRI staff and providers, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and MRI staff to identify potential exam order issues and ensure patient safety.
• Provide MRI staff with medical and environmental information pertinent to patient care, including medical implants, claustrophobia, and special needs.
• Consult with the MRI Safety Physicist on questionable implants, devices, or MRI safety concerns.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of MRI services and external vendors to ensure seamless care.
Requirements:
• 3 years of experience working with office staffs or other medical specialties.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
