Job Responsibilities:

  • Seeking an experienced IBM Mainframe and z/OS Systems Programmer with a strong background in z/OS internals, including JES2, SMS, and HSM.
  • Proficiency in z/OS communications such as TCP/IP and VTAM, along with JCL, IBM Utilities (e.g., IEBGENER), and REXX scripting (Python knowledge is a plus).
  • Familiarity with VSAM, DB2, and various sequential data formats, as well as programming languages like Cobol and IBM Assembler; Java experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in z/OS Operations activities, including IPLs, Stand Alone Dump, and console operations is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate should possess mentoring skills, sharing technical expertise, and providing guidance to junior Systems Programmers.
