Bakery Sales Associate

Tops Friendly Markets is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Bakery Sales Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and package baked goods for sale, ensuring accurate labeling and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bakery area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Process custom cake orders and specialty items, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Store and manage products effectively, minimizing waste and maintaining inventory levels.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a sales associate or related role is preferred.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with cash handling and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
