Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sale of the complete product line within the geographic area
  • Maintain current business and identify new opportunities with current and new customer base
  • Build business relationship with customer base to become their trusted industry expert
  • Quick response to calls, questions, and customer complaints with prompt follow-through
  • Collaboration with management team and inside sales to provide product, program, and pricing strategies for customers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of sales success with a background in building materials is preferred
  • Passion for sales, outgoing, and comfortable meeting new customers
  • Desire to work in a team atmosphere
  • Negotiation and closing skills
  • Excel in customer service; have a friendly and positive attitude
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize in a very fast-paced sales environment
  • Computer experience and math skills
  • Three to five years' experience in sales is preferred
