Sales Opportunity in Building Products Inc.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Professional to join our team as a Territory Sales Manager for the Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base within the territory.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including lumber dealers, co-ops, and other distribution channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide product, program, and pricing strategies for customers
  • Travel approximately 50-70% of the time to meet with customers and prospects

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of sales success with a background in building materials is preferred
  • Passion for sales, outgoing, and comfortable meeting new customers
  • Desire to work in a team atmosphere
  • Negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills; have a friendly and positive attitude
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Computer experience and math skills
  • Three to five years' experience in sales is preferred

Compensation and Benefits:
