Key Responsibilities:

- Arrive punctually in full uniform.

- Adhere to opening and closing procedures for cash handling.

- Conduct cash counts before and after service.

- Participate in pre-shift meetings.

- Answer phone calls courteously, following established etiquette.

- Ensure cash drawer is prepared before opening and ready for the first customer.

- Greet guests warmly and attentively.

- Prepare coffee and other beverages to order, and set out necessary condiments for breakfast service.

- Arrange trays, utensils, and napkins for guest use.

- Maintain temperature logs for food safety compliance.

- Accurately ring up menu items in the POS system.

- Process sales transactions, ensuring correct payment methods and change.

- Keep beverage stations and condiment areas well-stocked and organized.

- Display signage correctly for breakfast and lunch services.

- Clean and maintain cashier and beverage stations, as well as dining tables, according to the cleaning schedule.

- Prepare for the next day's opening by following established procedures.

- Ensure all beverage coolers and snack items are stocked before closing.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas, including equipment used for beverage preparation.

- Assist with cleaning and closing tasks as needed.

- Check out with the Manager on Duty before leaving.

- Be available for additional hours based on operational needs.

- Comply with sanitation and health standards.

- Follow proper food storage guidelines, including labeling and dating items.

- Operate necessary equipment safely and efficiently, including POS systems and beverage machines.

Preferred Qualifications:

- At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume barista role.

- 1 year of experience in customer service or food service.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Early availability Monday through Friday starting at 5:30 AM.
