At Atlantic Constructors, Inc., we are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Lead to join our expanding team.

About the Job

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating vendors, internal testing, and customer relations for our Industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective management of operations, resulting in completion of contracts within time and cost limits
  • Achieve gross profit objectives through leadership and management of staff, while meeting contractual commitments to customers and providing exceptional service
  • Mentor junior level controls associates
  • Coordinate plan and perform work for various customers to include troubleshooting in place control systems, new equipment control system install and logic improvements.

This position requires a strong leader with a background in mechanical service and industrial electrical controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all automation and controls requirements are met for the assigned job location.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in controls and industrial automation
  • At least 3-5 years' previous management experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial electrical automation equipment and controls
  • Strong business forecasting and planning skills
  • Computer literate (Email, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Exceptional customer relations experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Additionally, you must be able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen, and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.e. DMV, criminal history).

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance plans, dental insurance plan, vision insurance plan, 401(K) retirement plan with generous company matching, health savings plan, and more.

Work Environment

You will be working in a dynamic environment with varying temperatures, both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness. You may also be exposed to moderate/high noise levels and fumes or airborne particles including dust.

Physical Demands

This role routinely uses construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power tools. While performing duties of the job the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

Travel

This role may require travel (typically not overnight), but is based in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
