Quality Technician Job Summary

We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team at Renewal By Andersen. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality in all logistics and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze statistical data to identify areas for improvement and implement Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.
  • Identify quality errors and develop strategies to address them.
  • Perform daily and weekly 5S audits to maintain a clean and organized warehouse and office space.
  • Conduct product and process audits, communicate results, and escalate to leadership as necessary.
  • Review processes to ensure they operate within defined ranges and implement robust process controls to prevent errors.
  • Accurately complete quality assurance paperwork and forms.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and communicate them to the team.
  • Document and provide training on quality and process standards.
Requirements:
  • 2- or 4-year degree in Technology/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of Quality/Manufacturing/Logistics experience, preferably in the window and door industry.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles and quality systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) for data entry and editing of documentation.
  • Experience with aesthetic specifications and visual standards.
  • Knowledge of Window Quality specifications and experience with measurement equipment.
  • Ability to summarize data and present results.
