Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Anne Arundel Medical Center. As a Travel ICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Cardiac ICU environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Cardiac ICU, including those with post-open heart and CABG diagnoses.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- 2 years of current and strong experience in CICU/CVICU.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts, including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
