Collision Center Director

Riverview Chevrolet GMC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collision Center Manager to lead our team in the efficient and profitable operation of our collision center. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, providing exceptional customer service, managing the team, and ensuring quality work and timely completion of repairs.
This is a full-time management role that requires a strong knowledge of the auto industry, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-quality service. Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the collision center to ensure efficiency and profitability
- Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Train and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively
- Schedule and prioritize repairs to ensure timely completion and delivery to customers
- Oversee the purchasing of parts and materials, ensuring the best quality at the best price
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure the collision center operates within budget
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and resolving any issues in a timely manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, vendors, and other industry professionals
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements to ensure the collision center is using the best practices and equipment
- Implement and maintain safety procedures and regulations to protect the wellbeing of employees and customers
- Prepare and present reports to upper management on the performance of the collision center
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college or vocational training preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role in the auto industry, preferably in a collision center or body shop
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Indepth knowledge of collision repair and insurance processes
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer programs, such as Microsoft Office and CCC1 estimating software
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
