Daycare Teacher

Achieving True Self is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Teacher to join our team at the Center for Learning and Belonging in Irwin, PA. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow.

• Implement daily program activities under the guidance of the director and group supervisor.
• Coordinate daily group activities and ensure children's well-being.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment, including cleaning interactive areas and preparing snacks and meals.
• Ensure children get safely onto and off of the school bus at the beginning and end of each day.
• Monitor children to ensure they play and interact with one another in a safe and appropriate manner.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2 years of employment or minimum of 2,500 hours of employment experience with children.
• Ability to play with children in various ways, including standing, kneeling, and playing on the floor.
• Ability to move up to fifty (50) pounds.
