Job Description

The Project Coordinator - Surveying role at Sandis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team in Campbell, California. This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $105,000 per annum.

In this role, you will be working closely with project managers to assist on diverse survey projects in the San Francisco Bay area. Your responsibilities will include preparing construction staking calculations, creating mapping deliverables, post-processing field data, building CAD drawings, and mentoring survey technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain accurate and detailed construction staking calculations.
  2. Create high-quality mapping deliverables, including boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, plats, and legal descriptions.
  3. Analyze and process field data collected using various survey equipment.
  4. Design and build CAD drawings for clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  5. Mentor and support junior survey technicians in their career development.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in office surveying.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Pix4d, and Leica-based scanning software.
  • Hands-on experience with survey equipment, such as GPS, Robotic, and Total Station.
  • Pursuing FAA Pilot License.
  • LSIT certification preferred.
