Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the billing and invoicing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and implement billing policies and procedures in line with company and industry standards.
  • Analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing issues and ensure timely payments.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and vendors to ensure efficient billing processes.
  • Lead and manage a team of billing specialists, providing guidance and support.
  • Manage the month-end billing close process and ensure timely completion of all billing activities.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analytics to senior management and clients on a regular basis.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve billing processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and issues.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in medical billing software and other accounting software.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding, including ICD-10 and CPT codes.
  • Experience in Internal Medicine and/or Cardiology office preferred.
  • CPC Preferred.
