Seeking a Full-Time Rheumatologist

Our esteemed practice, Puja Chitkara MD Center for Arthritis and Rheumatologic Excellence, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Full-Time Rheumatologist to join our team. We are a busy private practice serving the greater San Diego area, and we are committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Treating patients with rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, systemic lupus, and ankylosing spondylitis.
  • Ordering diagnostic imaging to identify signs of systemic or autoimmune disorders.
  • Monitoring the progress of existing rheumatic disorders.
  • Prescribing medications to improve symptoms or slow the progression of the disorder.
  • Performing physical assessments to better understand symptoms.
  • Educating patients on autoimmune disorders and discussing treatment plans.
  • Designing tailored treatment plans.
  • Assessing joint-related conditions.
  • Evaluating lab results and other advanced tests.
  • Providing recommendations for treatments.
Requirements:
  • Board Certification or Eligibility.
  • Active California license.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and empathy skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Rheumatology.
  • Effective Electronic Health Record (EHR) skills.
