About the Role

This is a full-time position with an 8-hour day shift schedule located at our Scripps Coastal Medical Center in Vista. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will be part of a team that provides comprehensive care to patients with rheumatology conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and families and document patient interactions.
  • Practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.
Requirements
  • Current California LVN license.
  • American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of outpatient experience as LVN or LPN.
  • Experience in an outpatient setting.
