Maintenance Technician

Lillibridge Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the general maintenance and orderliness of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders for tasks related to physical maintenance and repairs of assigned buildings.
- Implement routine physical improvements to maintain optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction.
- Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining equipment, tools, and supplies inventory.
- Implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain related records and logs.
- Assist in controlling expenses associated with building operations.
- Communicate effectively with building stakeholders regarding status and changes.
- Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Act professionally and courteously with tenants, hospital clients, coworkers, vendors, and patients.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of related work experience and technical training.
- High school graduate or GED required; technical school training in maintenance-related courses preferred.
- Ability to understand and interpret design documents, manufacturer's specifications, and written operational procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure teamwork and positive client/tenant/co-worker relations.
- Ability to take direction and follow instructions.
- Must be safety conscious.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Basic aptitude for mathematics.
- 24-hour availability for emergencies and on-call rotation.
- Capable of extensive walking, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting/carrying 50 pounds by applying proper body mechanics.
- Willingness to work overtime on special projects as required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new job-related software.
- Working knowledge of tools and their proper use.
- CFC Handling Certification preferred.
