Electronic Reliability Engineer

Role Summary
The Electronic Reliability Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of electronic components used in SpaceX's spacecraft and launch vehicles. This includes designing and implementing reliability testing and analysis procedures, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential reliability risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability testing and analysis procedures for electronic components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential reliability risks
- Design and implement reliability improvement initiatives
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause identification
- Develop and maintain reliability documentation and reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in electronic reliability engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of electronic component reliability and failure mechanisms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in electronic reliability engineering or a related field
- Experience with reliability physics of failure models and reliability statistics
- Experience with accelerated environmental screening and qualification techniques
