This is an excellent position for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) seeking a role within a well-established group.
The facility operates a closed ICU with dedicated Physician intensivists. We are actively searching for board-certified Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with relevant hospitalist experience or training. Both nurse practitioners and physician assistants are encouraged to submit their applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting rounds, managing admissions and discharges, and participating in daily multidisciplinary rounds.
- Engaging in rapid response and code team activities.
- Maintaining certification in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support.
The intensivist team will take over code management promptly upon arrival.
Our team meets bi-monthly for lunch to discuss important matters and stay informed about hospital updates. We also host monthly educational sessions to enhance our knowledge of various hospital departments.
While our primary scheduling follows a week-on/week-off model, we are open to considering alternative arrangements. We utilize Meditech for electronic health records and have access to our internal informatics platform.
