Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing services to students and staff, including administering medications, treating injuries, and providing first aid.
• Develop and implement health education programs for students and staff.
• Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to support student health and well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of student health information and communicate with parents and guardians as needed.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in school nursing.
Requirements:
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Connecticut.
• Experience working in a school setting or with children and adolescents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school personnel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions:
