Job Description

Job Title: Computer Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Computer Production Supervisor to lead our technical production team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer hardware and software, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of technical production staff
  • Oversee the production of custom computers and related products
  • Ensure high-quality products are delivered to customers
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Provide technical support and training to team members
  • Monitor and report on team performance and productivity
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year associate degree in computer science or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a technical production environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in computer production and assembly as a computer hardware technician
  • Detailed knowledge of computer hardware and components
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on feet for 8-10 hours per day

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • Experience with Microsoft, Linux, and other related software packages
  • Extensive computer hardware and IT industry knowledge
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office products
