Orthopedic Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic Unit at East Jefferson General Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with orthopedic conditions, including surgical and non-surgical patients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- Graduating or Graduated from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Temporary or Permanent RN License to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
