As a pivotal member of the Christian Brothers Automotive team, the Automotive Service Operations Leader is entrusted with the essential task of guiding our clients through their vehicle service journey. This role is crucial in fostering strong relationships with our clientele, ensuring they feel valued and informed throughout the entire process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring a seamless workflow.
2. Manage and mentor office and workshop staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
3. Uphold and implement all organizational policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
4. Address employee performance issues with appropriate corrective measures when necessary.
5. Guarantee that the quality of service and customer interactions consistently meet or exceed satisfaction benchmarks.
6. Facilitate an organized and efficient operational environment within the facility.
7. Maintain a positive demeanor and effective communication with all team members and clients.
8. Develop accurate customer estimates and work orders, guiding the Service Writer in this process.
9. Ensure the selection of high-quality parts for all repairs.
10. Strive to meet target profit margins and operational goals.
11. Conduct daily opening and closing procedures for the service center.
12. Perform regular financial reconciliations and audits, reporting findings to management.
13. Ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition and available for technician use.
14. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the service process.
15. Welcome every client with enthusiasm and professionalism, demonstrating the highest level of respect and hospitality.
16. Present clear and understandable solutions for vehicle repairs, ensuring clients are well-informed.
17. Maintain integrity and honesty in all service offerings, fostering trust with clients.
18. Represent the organization with professionalism, embodying the values of honesty and integrity in every interaction.
Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
