Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Battery Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure seamless production operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide engineering support for daily production activities, focusing on optimizing Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) to enhance productivity and minimize defects.
- Utilize production data to manage tasks effectively and implement solutions for real-time production challenges.
- Engage in troubleshooting activities to resolve production issues promptly and maintain high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to plan and execute both reactive and preventative maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement permanent solutions to recurring manufacturing problems, addressing aspects such as productivity, quality, and safety.
- Monitor and audit manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with product specifications and standards.
- Create clear and standardized work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting guides.
- Support the implementation of industrial automation within manufacturing processes.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
- To maintain a safe working environment, employees may be required to wear PPE, which could include safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear.
Qualifications:
- Education:
High School diploma or GED; B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. - Experience:
3-5 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing setting. - Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with 3D CAD and mechanical drawings. - Ability to train operators on new manufacturing processes and adapt to a flexible working environment.
- Proven track record of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while delivering quality results.
