Position Summary:

We are in search of a meticulous and systematic Inventory Control Specialist to oversee our inventory operations. This role is vital for maintaining precise inventory records, performing regular audits, preparing parts for projects, and ensuring effective inventory management practices. Your contributions will be essential in supporting our production teams and guaranteeing the timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise inventory records by inputting data into the inventory management system.
  • Conduct routine physical inventory counts and audits to confirm stock levels and identify any discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary to avert shortages.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure timely acquisition of materials.
  • Organize and label inventory items in the warehouse for straightforward identification and retrieval.
  • Track and manage inventory movements, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
  • Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues that arise.
  • Prepare inventory reports and present findings to management.
  • Implement and uphold inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Assist with periodic cycle counts and year-end inventory audits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the inventory area.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support production schedules and requirements.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is advantageous.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $25 - $32 per hour. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
