Job Summary

As a Radiology Interventional Technologist at Heart Hospital of Austin, you will play a critical role in providing technical assistance to physicians in the Surgical and Imaging departments. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Ensure compliance with patient care quality standards and regulatory laws
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and CQI initiatives
  • Document patient information and communicate with primary physicians and direct care staff
  • Coordinate patient care and assist with procedures as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate of an educational program in radiology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
  • Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification with the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
  • One to two years of experience in an acute care setting as a Radiology Technologist or Interventional Radiology Technologist
