We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team at bioMerieux. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment, and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations.
  • Conduct electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complex nature.
  • Assist in the training of technicians.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Technical or vocational degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related manufacturing environment.
  • In lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and 2 years of electronic technician experience.
  • Associates Degree is desired.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor, and analog systems.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and assembly procedures.
  • Knowledge of service and repair of St. Louis-based instrumentation. Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance and calibration systems and processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
