Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to support the physical development of students in our schools.

This is a full-time position, working across three school buildings, with a focus on providing therapy services to meet individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to identify students' physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services aligned with established Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to facilitate student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current New York State Physical Therapy license.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
