Job Summary:
Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled Anesthesia Support Specialist to join our Surgical Support Services team. As an Anesthesia Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our anesthesia providers in the operating room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist anesthesia providers and other healthcare team members in providing care to patients undergoing operative invasive procedures.
- Prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and support anesthesia services.
- Maintain inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing invasive procedures, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- One year of experience with direct patient care experience in a hospital setting required, two years preferred.
- Previous experience in an operating room preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) or equivalent certification preferred.
