CRNA - Advanced Anesthesia Specialist

KurzSolutions is seeking a highly skilled CRNA to join our team. As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations, including obtaining health history, conducting physical exams, and ordering relevant diagnostic studies.
- Administer appropriate pre-anesthetic medications and ensure patient readiness for anesthesia.
- Obtain informed consent for anesthesia procedures, including induction, maintenance, and emergence.
- Provide preoperative and intra-operative care, including preparing equipment, monitors, supplies, and medications.
- Manage all aspects of airway management, including inserting peripheral venous catheters and performing Bier Blocks.
- Utilize non-invasive monitoring techniques to assess patient status and adjust anesthesia as needed.
- Monitor patient response during emergence from anesthesia and implement necessary pharmacological or supportive interventions.
- Conduct post-anesthesia follow-up evaluations to assess patient recovery and surgical outcomes.
- Administer respiratory support as necessary to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation post-anesthesia.
- Initiate and administer pharmacological or fluid support for cardiovascular stability in the post-anesthesia period.
- Discuss anesthesia options and associated risks with patients, ensuring informed decision-making.
- Perform anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence procedures safely and effectively.
- Have graduated from an accredited program in nurse anesthesia education.
- Must have and maintain board certification or be recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Possess a current license as a registered professional nurse and hold a current license to practice medicine in GA or have a multi-state license.
- Have at least one full year (12 months) of experience as a CRNA.
- Possess BLS and ACLS certification through the AHA or ARC.
