Job Summary

Interpath Laboratory is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist/Collector to join our team in Spokane, WA. As a key member of our clinical laboratory team, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of laboratory operations, including patient reception, specimen collection, processing, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact effectively with patients and team members.
  • Retrieve blood samples and other specimens, prepare them for laboratory testing, and perform screening procedures.
  • Verify specimen information, perform data entry, and properly identify patient information.
  • Receive, process, and package samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
  • Follow safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participate in quality assurance.
  • Cover work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • WA Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist certification.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
