Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Summary:

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our imaging team in Flossmoor, Illinois. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT procedures, providing excellent patient care, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

About the Role:

• We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with 1 year of experience in radiology technology, preferably with certification in CT.
• The successful candidate will have familiarity with CT equipment and software, as well as excellent communication skills to interact with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• You will work closely with our imaging team to ensure seamless operations, maintain high standards of patient safety, and contribute to the growth and development of our department.

Responsibilities:

1. CT Procedure Performance:

• Perform high-quality CT scans, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists to optimize scanning parameters and ensure accurate diagnoses.

• Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and respect throughout the procedure.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant HIPAA regulations.

• Accurately document patient information, examination results, and any complications or concerns.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide clear instructions and support.

• Work collaboratively with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve shared goals and objectives.
