Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a computed tomography technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses through the use of advanced imaging technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT Scanners: Safely and effectively operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare Patients: Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work collaboratively with healthcare teams, including radiologists, nurses, and other technologists, to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certification: Possess current certification in computed tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Education: Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience as a radiologic technologist, preferably in a CT modality.
