Brink's is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Transport Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of high-value assets and ensuring the security of our employees, vehicles, and liability.
Key Responsibilities- Guard and maintain the safety and security of our employees, armored truck, and liability at all times
- Deliver or pick up valuables at customer locations
- Dispatch personnel to ensure successful transactions
- Remain alert and prepared at all times, not only protecting yourself or premises against attack, but also watching for accidents that could result in a loss
- Reconcile customer deposits and receipts of all valuables handled during daily business
- Follow all applicable procedures, policies and regulations relating to the safe and lawful carrying, handling, care, security and use of firearms
- Provide excellent customer service
- Guard liability and assets
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Satisfy all applicable Department of Transportation requirements
- A valid Connecticut firearm permit is required
- A valid guard card is required
- Ability to work 1st shift hours Monday thru Friday with rotating Saturdays
- Ability to maintain tactical procedures to ensure a secure environment
- Ability to satisfactorily complete and maintain all required internal training applicable to the position.
