Position Title: Cloud Operations Administrator (Google, AWS, and Azure)
Work Arrangement: REMOTE

Core Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily Cloud Operations to guarantee seamless and effective functionality across all Cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Deploy monitoring solutions to assess performance, expenses, and resource utilization.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues pertaining to Cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Implement Managed Applications, Service Catalogs, Virtual Machines, and Service Bus technologies.
  • Establish and administer database services, particularly NoSQL, SQL, and their managed instances.
  • Conduct daily system oversight to include confirming the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and essential processes; examining system and application logs; and validating the completion of scheduled tasks.
  • Execute and document regular patching of hosting environments, ensuring system security and stability.
  • Oversee cloud backups and disaster recovery strategies, regularly verifying the integrity of backups.
  • Monitor performance metrics across all cloud environments (CPU, Disk Space, Network, etc.).
  • Generate and track critical alerts for all systems and integrate with On-Call notification systems.
  • Serve as the primary contact point and provide troubleshooting and support for cloud-related challenges, including coordination with vendors for critical incident assistance and/or advice.
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of architectural diagrams for both new and existing service deployments.
  • Support research, evaluation, and implementation of innovative cloud tools to enhance efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and assist in optimizing cloud expenditures and report to management on actual and anticipated monthly cloud service costs.
  • Provide assistance to other departments for various business applications and collaborate closely with DevOps teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and effective code management.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation for cloud administration utilizing PowerShell CLI and automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, and Azure CLI.
  • Participate in after-hours support rotation as a subject matter expert (SME) for Cloud Services.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Technology or equivalent technical experience required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant Cloud experience.
  • Expertise in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of Cloud-based Networking, including VNETs, application gateways, and load balancing.
  • Proficient in cloud storage management.
  • Demonstrated ability in scripting and automation for deployment and operational tasks.
  • Knowledge of OS internals, virtualization products, and technologies.
  • Experience in disaster recovery planning, implementation, and execution.
  • Proficient in supporting and upgrading Windows and Linux systems.
  • Strong understanding of PowerShell CLI and automation tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Azure CLI).
  • Familiarity with change management best practices.
  • Stay informed about the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
