POSITION SUMMARY

  • Oversee the behavior of the designated student while ensuring their safety

  • Assist the student with academic tasks and behavioral objectives

  • Keep accurate records of the student's daily activities
  • Work under the guidance of the classroom instructor
  • Provide support to staff and assist in program initiatives

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow the assigned student throughout the school day
  • Observe activities and document the student's progress
  • Maintain records regarding the student's behavior and academic achievements
  • Assist in reducing inappropriate behaviors
  • Support individual and group assignments in the classroom
  • Establish clear expectations with students
  • Offer constructive feedback to educators and team members
  • Collaborate effectively with school personnel
  • Employ verbal de-escalation techniques as needed

COMPENSATION

This role offers a salary range of $17.00 to $18.00.
