POSITION SUMMARY
- Oversee the behavior of the designated student while ensuring their safety
- Implement strategies for behavior modification and adhere to school regulations
- Assist the student with academic tasks and behavioral objectives
- Accompany the student during classes and extracurricular activities
- Keep accurate records of the student's daily activities
- Work under the guidance of the classroom instructor
- Provide support to staff and assist in program initiatives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow the assigned student throughout the school day
- Observe activities and document the student's progress
- Maintain records regarding the student's behavior and academic achievements
- Assist in reducing inappropriate behaviors
- Support individual and group assignments in the classroom
- Establish clear expectations with students
- Offer constructive feedback to educators and team members
- Collaborate effectively with school personnel
- Employ verbal de-escalation techniques as needed
COMPENSATION
This role offers a salary range of $17.00 to $18.00.
