The Role:

You will lead and grow a global memory controller team developing state-of-the-art IP for server, datacenter, and consumer/enterprise markets for AMD. Your responsibilities will include driving micro-architecture, design, implementation, and verification with innovative solutions for solving end-to-end product and time-to-market challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow a global memory controller team developing state-of-the-art IP for server, datacenter, and consumer/enterprise markets for AMD.
  • Drive micro-architecture, design, implementation, and verification with innovative solutions for solving end-to-end product and time-to-market challenges.
  • Proactively lead project planning, developing, and maintaining schedules, managing dependencies, and ensuring quality of work at committed milestones.
  • Work directly with our customers and partners to ensure their memory solutions meet industry best requirements.
  • Develop metrics and communication mechanisms to allow for continuous improvements in execution and faster decision-making at the management and executive levels.
  • Collaborate with global leadership to design a high-quality and scalable organization for the growing market needs.
  • Coach and mentor staff.

Preferred Experience:

  • Engineering management and technical leadership experience.
  • Experience in end-to-end life-cycle of a product from concept to production.
  • Experience with controller-PHY interactions and working with VIP vendors is desired.
  • Experience with DDR and LPDDR interfaces and controller is desired.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of engineering fields and management.
  • Solid understanding of the technologies, capabilities, and challenges involved.
  • Expertise in firmware, software, and hardware.
  • Experience in driving and collaborating with global teams.

Academic Credentials:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred.

Location:

Folsom, CA, Roseville, CA, Austin, TX, or Vancouver, CN.
