Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, with opportunities for quarterly bonuses and a year-end super bonus.

Travel Requirements: This role requires 100% travel, primarily within airport environments. Candidates must be prepared to travel for extended periods, potentially up to two weeks at a time, with flexible days off as necessary.

Relocation: Candidates must be willing to relocate as needed.

Key Responsibilities: The Traveling Restaurant Operations Leader will oversee various SSP America airport locations across the United States, stepping in as needed to support or manage restaurant operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all facets of multi-unit restaurant operations within airport settings, including concourses, terminals, and food courts.
  • Ensuring exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
  • Training and retaining high-quality staff while fostering a culture of outstanding hospitality.
  • Managing food and labor costs, with shared or direct P&L accountability.
  • Overseeing daily shifts, ensuring compliance with sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a general manager in a full-service restaurant with bar, managing sales volumes of $3M or more.
  • At least one (1) year of experience as a multi-unit restaurant manager overseeing general managers in a full-service restaurant with bar, managing sales volumes of $15M or more.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in the food service industry.
