POSITION SUMMARY: This role collaborates closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, functioning as a vital part of our logistics team responsible for the receipt, organization, and distribution of tools, materials, and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with a successful HVAC firm and explore future career advancements within the organization.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues to share information, resolve issues, and coordinate tasks.
  • Provide input and report any discrepancies or shipping issues to management.
  • Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and shipping partners.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with a willingness to learn quickly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to ensure the following tasks are completed:

Facility Maintenance & Security:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the shop and surrounding areas as directed by the warehouse manager.
  • Assist with general cleaning and repairs within the shop and office.
  • Support landscaping and snow removal efforts.
  • Conduct regular garbage collection inside and outside the facility.
  • Work with the Warehouse Manager to maintain organization and inventory of all materials and equipment.
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of company tools.

Deliveries and Pickups:

  • Help load materials for various projects.
  • Deliver parts and materials to technicians at job sites.
  • Pickup and return parts and materials from suppliers.
  • Drive vehicles for maintenance and repairs.

Material and Equipment Handling:

  • Receive and process material and equipment deliveries.
  • Notify relevant personnel of received orders promptly.
  • Assist in staging materials and equipment for efficient distribution.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Warehouse Supervisor regarding all deliveries, pickups, and job site clean-up.

Additional duties may be assigned as required by management.

Working Conditions:

This role involves physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and lifting various equipment, as well as walking, standing, and bending for extended periods. The position may require climbing and working from ladders while carrying items weighing up to 75 lbs.

Work may be performed in various weather conditions, and exposure to dust, noise, heat, cold, lubricants, and chemicals may occur.
