About the Job

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our industrial development efforts in Philadelphia, PA. As a Sr. Development Manager, you will oversee the entitlements, environmental due diligence, design, and construction of new build-to-suit, spec, and capital improvement projects for our key industrial tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and manage site due diligence tasks to facilitate smooth land acquisition processes.
  • Develop strategic relationships with design and construction professionals nationwide.
  • Closely monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion of necessary permits and approvals.
  • Evaluate project documents and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings through effective material procurement strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Acquisition Team to develop comprehensive project budgets.
  • Foster a high-performing project team that delivers exceptional results.
  • Implement robust project cost controls and track committed, pending, and anticipated expenses.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in real estate development and construction/project management.
  • Essential industrial expertise required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Detailed-oriented, analytical thinker with strong computer skills.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
