Key Responsibilities:


The Radiology Technologist is tasked with performing radiographic examinations using diagnostic imaging equipment, following the directives of the ordering physician or radiologist.

The individual must exhibit the expertise and skills necessary to provide care that is appropriate for the age of the patients in their care.

It is essential for the staff member to understand the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and to be capable of assessing and interpreting patient data to identify their specific needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology; an Associate's Degree is preferred.

Licensure:
Valid Connecticut State Licensure

Certification:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology; candidates must achieve ARRT certification within 100 days of employment.

CPR Certification required.
