About the Role:

Cinemark is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Janitor. As a Janitor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our theatres. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that our guests have an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the General Manager to prioritize cleaning tasks and ensure a thorough cleaning of the theatre and theatre property.
  • Schedule time to perform a comprehensive cleaning of the theatre and theatre property, including auditoriums, lobby, restrooms, and concession stands.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as cleaning walls, doors, and seats.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment is in good working order and properly maintained.
  • Inspect the theatre and theatre property to identify any issues or areas that require attention.
  • Report any concerns or issues to the General Manager.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Requires regular and consistent attendance.
  • Has an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
  • Provides excellent guest service.
  • Interpersonal skills include the ability to communicate effectively with all ages, genders, and personalities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to take and follow direction.
  • Responds with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to safely mix chemicals and dispose of used chemicals in compliance with state and local regulations.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theatre.
  • Noise level may be moderate to high at times.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
