About the Role

Axes Physical Therapy is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the lives of those we serve. We're seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in our Festus clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and provide patient care in alignment with our organization's standards and values.
  • Perform job duties in accordance with our 8 core values.
  • Function as a cooperative, active member of the healthcare team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and physician-related information.
  • Assume responsibility for continued professional growth and development.
  • Maintain safety and infection control standards.
  • Evaluate patients per physician order and administer appropriate treatments.
  • Responsible for timely completion and submission of reports.
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate records.
  • Interpret and report results of treatments.
  • Assign and supervise tasks to support staff as needed.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of programs and services.
Requirements
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from patients.
  • Ability to act with integrity in regard to confidentiality.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment in solving problems.
  • Willingness to practice Physical Therapy consistent with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in physical therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed or eligible for State of MO PT license.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Efficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Programs and EMR programs.
