Responsibilities- Provide primary and continuing care to patients in Garnet Health Medical Center
- Lead, coordinate, and administer care in an interdisciplinary team environment
- Partner with administrative support staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Display the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, acting in the best interest of Garnet Health Medical Center
- MD or DO degree with recognized internal medicine residency (three years minimum) or ABFM-recognized family medicine residency (three years minimum)
- Professional clinical experience in primary care practice in either family medicine or internal medicine
- NYS Medical License, valid and unrestricted
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice achieved within five years of completion of residency
- Current and ongoing BLS certification
- NY State DEA Certification, valid and unrestricted
- Current NY State Opioid Prescriber Certificate
- Current Infectious Certificate
The ideal candidate will possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with the practice of internal medicine or family medicine. The work environment is primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor work. The candidate will be exposed to various staff, sales representatives, employees, and community members. The physical demands of the job include lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs, pushing over 75 lbs, and standing for long periods.
What We OfferGarnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range for this role is $235,135 through $281,579 annually. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member's compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered, including location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity.
