Key Responsibilities
- Conduct precise and timely laboratory tests, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Take charge of departmental responsibilities in the absence of supervisory staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to patient results and laboratory processes.
- Execute urgent procedures within designated turnaround times.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to interpret patient results effectively, including performing necessary checks.
- Monitor pending logs and address any outstanding tasks promptly.
- Implement quality control measures in accordance with established guidelines.

Qualifications
- A minimum of an Associate Degree is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- A valid State of Florida Technologist License is mandatory or the ability to obtain one during the interview process.
- Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas is advantageous, with a preference for Generalist.
